Is College A Waste Of Time?
What is up everyone! It's Prince back again with another one. I was going through the essay, "College Is a Waste Of Time" by Dale Stephens. There are some very good points I can agree with that were stated, but also some that I could not. One important thing Dale does have in his essay are the 4 Pillars Of Argument ! Starting off with the Thesis ; which is where he stated his main argument. It is simply cut and dry; the last sentence in the first paragraph of his essay(sec.1). "I believe higher education is broken"...there you go it's right there; you cant miss it. Following his main point, Stephens continue to argue his stance by backing it up with some clear evidence ; which is the 2nd Pillar of Argument! Wow look at that, we are really moving. Dale Stephens came strong with a lot of evidence in my opinion. If you look in the 3rd paragraph, 1st sentence, Stephens supports his thesis by stating that " Failure is punished instead of seen as a learning
